The venue for the PREEMPTIVE Workshop 2015 is the International Research Institute of Disaster Science in the Aoba-yama Campus at Tohoku University, 468-1 Aramaki Aza Aoba, Aoba-ku, Sendai, Japan.Directions:
By taxi:
20 minutes from Sendai Station. (About ¥2,200)
By bus:
Catch a bus from platform 9 at the west entrance in front of Sendai station
bound for the "Miyagi University of Education / Aobadai",
get off at "Joho-Kagaku-Kenkyuka-Mae" (Approx. a 20 min ride)
* It costs ¥230 from Sendai station to IRIDeS by bus (It is recommended to have small change or at most ¥1000 bill when you get on the bus)
Note
All the buses that depart from platform 9 except the ones bound for [720] Kotsu Koen/Kawauchi Eigyosho (via Aoba-dori) go to the venue.
